BYK® -019 is a solution of the polyether modified polydimethylsiloxane class. It acts as a silicone-based defoamer for aqueous systems. It offers excellent long-term stability and high shear strengths. It is also effective in defoaming pigment concentrate formulations. It is recommended for exterior paints, gloss and semi-gloss paints, plastic coatings. BYK® -019 is also designed for wood parquet varnishes, furniture coatings, pigment concentrates and printing inks. It is recommended at a dosage level of 0.1-1%.
