Aflux 42 is a processing promoter for natural- and synthetic rubbers like NR, SBR, NBR, CR and EPDM. Aflux 42 also functions as an excellent dispersing agent for fillers and rubber chemicals. Aflux 42 enhances the plasticity of uncured compounds, flow properties, output and the rate of extrusion of profiles. Aflux 42 imparts smooth surfaces to extrudates and calendered foils. Aflux 42 is suitable for continuous vulcanization processes (LCM, UHF) and injection molding. Aflux® 42 finds application in technical molded and injected articles like footwear. Recommended dosage level is 2-5 phr and in NBR is 2-4 phr. Aflux 42 has a shelf life of 3 years.
